Hello, I'd like to welcome everyone to vInsert. vInsert is the newest innovation in RuneScape technology, on the old school servers.

The bot itself is a closed-source project, however everyone will be given access to a open-sourced, documented, scripting API. API is linked above!

The bot application has been developed by Discardedx2 and Tommo over the past couple of weeks, and has progressed very quickly. Once released, this bot will have so many unique features that will project itself above competition.

The API is currently in development, by Discardedx2, Tommo, Kaden, and iJava. Once the API has been publicly sourced a contributor rank will be obtainable for those users who feel they want to contribute code to the project. Bug fixes, patches, and snippets all count towards this rank.

Why is this thread made? iJava got banned but his thread remains. So what's the reasoning here?

 

There will be VIP and most likely premium scripts soon.

I can't personally answer that question atm since iJava is asleep.

We currently have Sox, Kenneh and Nanny and many others.

His thread remains, but whats the point of a thread which doesn't get updated? He asked me as a favor to do it and I did

 

The client doesn't even work.. just stays at loading please wait...

 

Be patient mate on the first time it starts up it takes a while, I was waiting about 2-3 minutes before it worked but if you wait you can enjoy botting.

 

I can't wait for this bot to come out... mainly because Tribot is always down lol.
As far as detectability, how is this technology better from what's already in the market?

 

This client is already released.

Detectability is based off the script writers. A SW can make a script bot-like or similar to human movements. At the moment there isn't much or any random-event solvers so it is URGED you babysit all bots.

 

I spend some time over at VeloxBot and that was looking good, same story for vInsert. I'm doubting for how long it will be up though, considering the bot is free to use there aren't many people buying VIP or better said funding the bot. Once the site starts to get DDOS'd seriously some major investments have to be made to keep it up..

Will eventually start to be a big problem. The bot being free to use it could potentially disable logging in but if the site is down the SDN is down aswell.. But we'll see how it works out, good luck.

Also, does anyone know how to convert wbot scripts to vinsert? I wouldn't mind converting a few there lol

 

Yeah I know what you mean, Your work on vB was pretty fucking beast with VPS. Like you put the hard yards but then at the end of the day, there wasnt enough demand for color clients and the level of updates were close to nothing.

But due to the fact that the owners see lots of people joining and an influx of large activity it may motivate them to continue. We can hope for the best.

Well, to convert a script both clients would have to use the same method, so if wBot used Injection, it would be all sweet. All you would probably have to do is find the equivalent API methods and replace them. I think.

1) Will you have lawyers to back you up in case Jagex threatens to file a lawsuit?

2) Will you have AT LEAST layer 7 DDOS protection?

 

I've been using for an hour now, no complaints so far.

So was wBot and both of those questions were things wbot SHOULD have considered before they launched. Adding cusses only makes you look more ignorant.

 

What's the point in making a bot client when it's going to be shut down within the first week? These are real things they need to account for.

And N0val, I don't know if you've ever ran a popular website or online business, or any business before, but having trial attorney's is a very expensive thing. As with what happened with wBot, Jagex will ALWAYS issue a legal warning to somebody before actually filing suit. The bot only makes income from advertising, which isn't much. High-layered DDoS protection will also run them hundreds more per month. You don't just start up with a legal team unless you invested a good amount of money into it (and if you did, it usually wouldn't be a free service to begin with), you build your way up there.

As for vInsert itself. Ive only been using 1 script, and while the script is fine, it always has problems where I have to end up restarting the entire bot as it freezes. Sometimes the script is stopped but the paint is still on there, yet it will let me start the script again so the two paints overlap. I'm not sure if that problem is on the script or the bot, but it's happened maybe 5 times already in a day.

One of those times was just now and they're getting DDoS'd (or its cloudflare, but I don't buy that. TriBot was down, vInsert was up, both on CloudFlare, and just now vInsert goes down), which sucks. Their cheapest temporary fix would be to have mirrored databases on separate servers where the client can read from both, increasing the difficulty and time it takes to completely shut it down.

When you start a RS botting client, you dont have an endless supply of money. You have limited starting capital which is usually used to set up the website..

Maybe in the future if the site gets a large influx of traffic the ADMINS may consider to get lawyers and ddos protection.

 

R ahman it's a barrier to entry in the current market. You simply can't expect to be successful if you have no way to stop people who are more than willing to continuously DDoS you.

Businesses, whether they charge the customer or not, must be aware of the startup costs
