Paypal holding my cash for 21days

I created a new paypal and sold some gold, took the payment and PP are holding it for 21 days for buyer protection? What can I do to get it released faster.

 

It is usual. From what I heard, all new accounts that are created within a specific date etc will be treated this way.

This is caused by people who sent you money under Services.

Is your account verified already?

 

I hear if it's fully verified it can speed up the process payments faster, although mines been fully verified for around a year and it still happens. It's the same with Ebay.

 

I would recommend fully verifying it bot.

 

IMO .the sender sent you the payment as goods form. If he sent as service form, the cash will be in your Paypal balance instead of pending balance.

 

Well they refunded it for some reason, strange. I'm hoping to get an email reply about my normal acc which I forgot my password to, reset emails aren't coming through, and it's fully verified. Bleurgh.

 

So your problem is solved right?

In most cases paypal do that in order to get the account holder to verify their legitimacy/id/etc.

 

Well no, I've lost my GP and my PP balance, gonna have to get it re-sent to my other paypal if PP will let me do a PW recovery.
