    Oculus has just announced the second developer version of their virtual reality headset, Oculus Rift. The DK2 will be based off the Crystal Cover prototype that was shown earlier this year. Compared to the DK1 it will feature a 1080P OLED panel using special techniques to reduce the motion blur and sickness that came with the DK1, 40 infrared LEDs that will be tracked by the included camera, this allows for expanded motion control, among other features.

    The consumer version has yet to be announced. Oculus, however, has announced this will be the final developer kit before the consumer version gets released. Do not expect much technical changes between the DK2 and the consumer version.
