Obby Mauling in 2018

Holy smokes! its been YEARS!!!
haven't been on here in quite some time, and I did have a few questions about obby mauling.

As of right now, i've got a well kitted mauler, but you know....... everyone wants to see more progress!

Basically, the questions I have are...
WHAT ELSE??

-99 str in the end, is a given. Im not there yet, mentally. 1/5th of the way
-Fire Cape... is it even possible with 1 range, 13 prayer? (i doubt it)
-Best in slot offhand??? I cannot get a god-book, due to range, aswant to stay 1 range
-boots. IIRC, irons are the best i can get, defense wise
-legs, im pretty stuck with castle wars, unless i get range. CW is +5 in all def over iron, and +30 mage from iron

BIG QUESTION: tyrannical or berserker ring while training with slayer staff?


Any other advice or quests to complete??

 

Why stay 1 range? 1 prayer capes are possible but you would probably need to buy it from someone as they are tough. They required range levels though

 

82 strength, you are able to gain a few range levels, get to 40 range, have someone do the cape for you will cost some GP and youll probably end around 62 range?

 

Get yourself a cannon to level Range without effecting HP and your combat level. Yes it's costly, but your account would be sick. Firecape would be hard with your prayer level, but possible if range was advanced. I think your setup is just fine the way it is. Adding "better" things would give you an almost negligible impact with training at those levels. Keep it cheap and spend your money on the cannon!
