Obby Mauler or other pures

hello ive decided to come back after hearing about possible return of wildy and free trade really excited and stuf blah blah blah


SO i have decided to make a pure! yes gonna grind out those skills to own up some children in the wilderness

ive decided to make an obby mauler (yay!)
WHY?
1. cuz ive made almost every other pure except this one
2. they seem fun
I was wondering if any1 has any tips on how to train
or post why you think a different type of pure would be better!

Don't make obby maulers unless your very devoted, furthermore these type of pures are boring and have no reward.

1. Obby maulers get one of the slowest EXP. Takes years to even get 60 strength...

2. If you want to make a really successful mauler, you will need a slayer staff. Its stats are the same as rune scim, but you need 55 slayer. 55 slayer on a pure with cannon is still VERY slow and takes very long.

3. Your hits basically are retarded. You hit high but not constant, you do not even have a spec weapon. It is boring as most people will safe, furthermore even if you kill them, the loot will be VERY shitty.

 

For the record in response to the guys post above me, getting 60 str does not take a long time at all if you bot it, now I don't know if the OP is planning on botting it, I am just saying. Secondly, he is right about the safing part but they may work a little bit better when the older wilderness returns. I for one stick with the D Scim/DDS pure as it has always been my favorite. It can really run shit even if it's 60 attk 80 str which is not that hard to get at all if you bot.

 

Had an 80str 55slayer 60range obby mauler and it was boring as fuck.
