Explanation of the trade: I had contacted this seller for an ironman account he was advertising on EpicNPC, he is a moderator there and I was careless and agreed to give him the $4200 usd through friends and family since he seemed trusted.
How they scammed: He kept stalling out saying the money was pending over the course of a week, sending the same screenshot (same discord url and all) as proof of it being pending despite the money going through.

My god, One thing after another.

Yes i dealt with this person, Yes we had an agreement of $4,200. Payment was sent through and was "Pending" On PayPal for quite some time. Weather it be due to PayPal limiting such a large payment as it has happened previously (Not for that amount of time) or limiting one of our accounts, i don't know.
I asked for help via a OSRS services discord who i am friends with and have been for awhile to assist into why PayPal would be holding on to the money for so long. They suggested it "may" be due to the bank/PayPal could've been sent via E-Check which can take up to 8 business days to transfer.

As you can see via his chat logs (If they are 100% accurate, i can send all of mine if need be) i never once stopped contact with him. I made sure i was constantly keeping him updated as i know how nerve racking it can be.

Moving on to a couple days had passed and i had called PayPal on my end and they stated they can see it's pending but are waiting confirmation, Remembering this transaction happened on a weekend so we both agreed it may be due to the weekend and to wait until Monday when i contacted them. I even suggested and offered support in the fact that if the still did not come through to even dispute it via PayPal or contact his bank to reverse the transaction. To which he replied he will give them a call some time today and that he was no longer interested in the account which i completely understand. That was on the 30/11/2021.
I had notice on 1/03/2022 that Farmess#0001 had removed me from discord as a friend but since we still shared a sever together i was able to message. I informed him that i am no longer accepting PayPal and only Crypto as it would be much faster with out the stuff arounds. To His reply - "Nah sorry not interested, Think my bank handled getting the payment back to me about a day later" and followed up with telling me good luck with the sale man. (The reason for the long reply was i moved houses and had to wait for the internet to be set up.)

Now for me, That right there states that his bank in fact did get his money back to him a day later like he stated and that he had already found another ironman account and purchased it already.
Since then i do not know is farmess blocked me on discord as i can no longer view his profile but that's all the contact we have had until this dispute, 30 days later.

I don't understand, $4,200 is not a small sum of money at all. Why wait so long to open a dispute if this was the case. After stating his bank did get his money back a day later and also informing me that his already purchased another ironman account then removed/block me on discord? To me, That is very strange indeed.

I never once ignored, Blocked or removed Farmess from discord and i always kept him updated every single day. I even assisted him in trying to either dispute PayPal or get his bank to reverse the payment to which it has been. I was even more than happy to use a MM to make this sale more comfortable for Farmess but he was more than happy to go first.

I will post pictures below and delete them so staff can see. If you require anything else please let me know.
