Anybody know how to log into multiple accounts on 1 website at a time? 1 browser

For example, many different youtube or facebook accounts on one particular browser, normally if you just opened another page it would be the same account, does anyone know how to get passed this?

 

Uhm if you open up two pages and go on the site on both, if theyre both the same account then log out of one and it won't log out of the other. Then you can just log into the account you want to on the other browser and you should have two accounts logged into the same site on one particular browser.

 

From one browser, it's not possible. Your cache stores the login information from the login session, and you cannot possibly use two different accounts at the same time.

You can use a different browser though. Use Firefox and Chrome and you can have two different accounts, Firefox, Chrome, and IE if you want Three, and so on.

This couldn't be any more wrong.

By logging into another account from a second tab, the moment you try and navigate to another page on the first tab, the account would immediately switch to the one you logged into from the 2nd tab.

As I said earlier, the browser itself saves the login information in it's cache and looks to that when you're browsing the site to keep you logged in.

That's a horribly inefficient way of doing this.

On Google Chrome, you can have one browser open in normal mode and another in "incognito" mode. On Firefox, there's Private Browsing (I think that's what it's called? I could be wrong) which will allow you to do the same thing.

I'm sure the other various browsers like IE, Opera, Safari all have similar options. Google it.

 

Alright, I overlooked that aspect of the browser. Regardless, it still requires you to open another instance of the browser which is essentially the same aspect as using a different browser.

 

Yeah, true, but I don't think many users enjoy using more than one specific browser. Typically people pick one they enjoy and use it over anything else.
