I made this for a callout against Suffer on Guy Fawkes Day. Rate my photo manipulation/design skills:

 

I like the approach but you should add text. Also, try and find a higher quality shot of parliament. I like the explosion you made though...

 

It's interesting, but I think it's too foggy, you know?

Is that suppose to be an explosion? If it is, it needs to be brighter and stick out from the clouds above it

 

Text would wreck the entire signature.

The image was manipulated, thus lower quality. It's supposed to have a hand painted look.

 

I don't think you achieved the desired look (no offense). You should have messed with some filters if you wanted to do that. Blurring isn't enough.

EDIT: Here is an example of something I did a year or two ago trying to get the same effect, notice the difference.

While Text could be improved, I think it's pretty good.
