A way to "Like" a post

Title pretty much says it all, it'll be just like the Facebook concept, and wouldn't count as a post count. It'll be a way to just say "Agreed" without getting a infraction for spamming.

This would be a good concept on how well topics are going in user education or guide sections and will motivate the OP to add more to the thread or make more advanced and helpful threads in the future, On the other hand, The "Like" button is not available on VB and the next form to it would be the "Thanks" button, This is a good idea, However i think it is currently blacklisted on the "Do not suggest" Sticky. Ill edit and tell you soon.

About 15th down, Its on the do not suggest list, Although i do like the concept of this.

This would be pretty much pointless, don't see any real need for it. If you want to like a post go to Facebook.com and do it.

Just noticed it's in the "don't post" thread. Doesn't matter now, even if something like this was brought in, I wouldn't use it.

 

I'd be for it, shows interest in an idea without having to post. I support.

 

I am a member of a different forumsite that uses this and I think it is nice. I would support, even though this is on the DNS and will be denied.

 

Isn't there a 1-5 star rating system applicable for all threads? Same vein, might as well take advantage of it.

 

You're basically suggesting the same system as a 'Thanks' system, which is on the DNS list.

Also, this is not Facebook.
