Not trading user feedback

Just want to give some feedback on the no trading user system, which allows scammers and people with big unpaid loans to come back to Sythe.

I think this is an amazing system and am very happy to see this implanted. Tons of people do not want to pay back loans/scams after they've been banned form Sythe because they 'wont gain anything from it'. This is of course very selfish, but I have seen tons of people who didn't want to pay back because they wouldn't be allowed to come back to Sythe as a result. In my opinion retrieving the money to the scammed user or user who gave the loan, is the most important thing, as they can't help it and they're in the loss. Therefore I think with this no trading user system, a lot of scams/loans will be paid back, which would otherwise never been paid back to the lawful owner.

Another feature this has is being able to bring scammers/money owers into contact with the people they scammed or owe money to. If you're not on Sythe doing business I can imagine you not checking your Skype every 2 hours and it may even be hard to actually get into contact with someone, after you've deleted him off you Skype and everything. This system allows you to get back into contact with the person and allows Sythe moderators to see to it that the loan/scam is paid back in for example monthly terms.

TLR; I'm happy with this update and think that a lot of people who have been scammed can now finally get their money back through this. Great update, keep it up.

 

People who scammed in the past had a chance to get back by paying the victims what they scammed aswell, that's why there is a pardon system.

I am happy to hear that you like this change that we have made to offer users a second chance. I honestly feel that, like you, users that are given this second chance are going to be more likely to repay any debts that they owe and hopefully are able to redeem themselves by being outstanding users here at Sythe.

 

I find it ironic how people hate hate hate, then as things blow over peoples opinions vastly change.

Out with the old, in with the new.

 

disagreeing with scammers being allowed back into the community without pardoning/rf'ing is not 'hating'... to make it clear i wasn't against the DNT thing for drama bans and unique bans etc, but against it in regards to scammers/blackhat people etc

 

I didn't say u were, I didn't put anyone specific for a reason.

For what its worth we are ~ 1 week into DnT now w/o any issues I'm proud to say with probably 100+ people now.

 

i know, i wasn't really speaking on behalf of myself entirely, more so (hopefully) speaking on behalf of most people that were against DNT

 

As long as certain users don't break the rules of DNT then there wont be any issues. Right Bus?

None the less agree with OP, this system is in place to give people a second chance, in showing they're willing to repay their victims. We tend to see similar programmes for petty crimes, such as community parole services. This way we can have DNT users actively participating in the community trying to redeem their selves. Glad you're liking it @Khaini hopefully it will also minimise vaders and scam rates.
