I don't feel as if the current war is necessary and that every branch of the military is rather pointless at the moment in their contribution to it.

Does anybody else feel this way?

Well, your question is hard to understand.

Even though I don't personally agree with the war, or think that the military needs as many branches as it currently has, I feel that is ones duty to support the men and women who do, in fact, risk their lives in order to carry out orders by the government. Even if I do disagree with the orders.

I often find myself incredibly torn on this issue. So many people make such great sacrifices doing what they think is right. Their selflessness and care is amazing at times.

I find it challenging though when what they are doing and the orders they are taking are in conflict with what I think is right.

Like Divine said, rather the war is justified or not the fact remains that honest US citizens are putting their lives on the line, hopefully for some benefit to all of us whom are still sitting at home.

I would try my best not to dishonor any vet, or current troop as long as they didn't commit something ridiculous, that obviously wasn't orders. Even if you've been a stellar soldier for multiple years, 1 mistreatment of someone innocent fucks that all up in my opinion.

Every part of the branch is necessary. You may not see it from where you sit. But being in the military and having been deployed to a base where you see all the branches. You know everyones got a job to do.

We don't pick where we go, we just follow orders. So if you have a problem with war, than address congress. Not the troops.

I think that most wars are pointless. And all wars can be avoided.

It's just if the leaders want them to be avoided or not.
