Reward if anyone can fix this.

When you log into a highly populated area (eg; The Duel Arena 302, The GE, ETC) where lots of people are spamming with autochat (the one ingame). If you start using your autochat your spam will not show up because so many people are spamming. The only way I know how to fix this is re-logging multiple times. If anyone knows how to fix this, PM me on sythe and I'll throw some cash your way.

 

Does it show up in the chat box and just not overhead?

 

I'd suggest reporting it as a bug to JaGeX.

 

Yes. It's not a bug, the message just shows up at the top of all the spam which is unable to view.

 

It might be out of the way to try, but you know how you walk 'x' distance to gain aggro back from monsters after being there awhile? Maybe try to log in about that far away and start your autochat then walk to the area you need. I've personally never encountered this problem and I know you are looking for a solution where you can log in and just let it go, but maybe this is worth a shot if your that annoyed about it until a good solution is offered. Not looking to try and score a reward. Just an idea that I'm not even sure will work haha. I hope you get it fixed friend.

 

I had this problem a lot too. I just keep messing with the filter options until it works. never tried logging out before

 

run to the bank and back and try standing in an area with less ppl so the options don't get flooded out

 

Do you mean on your personal screen, or on others?

AFAIK, for personal it's all about how you have positioned your camera

For others, it's about timing. Stop and start it a few times until you enter the message when a lot of others are. Once a message is sent, any new ones will be placed under it, which moves yours up higher. So try to release yours after a bunch of people have just released theirs.
