Max Bet Calculator

This uses the kelly criterion formula to calculate the max bet you should take to double your cash stack, guaranteed.

The formula is ''f = (bp-q)/b = [p(b+1)-1]/b'' where f is the fraction of the current bankroll to bet, b is the net odds received on the wager (x2 would be 2 to 1), p is the probability of winning, and q is the probability of losing which is 1-p.

Using this formulae, a bet on a coin flipping games requires you to bet 1/4 of your bank in order to double it. I just don't get the logic behind this or am I missing something out?

 

It's how much you should bet over time. It's a max bet calculator. You have to continue doing this max bet repeatedly.

Why is hc even in there? It's guaranteed to LOSE money over time.

For anything else that's truly 50/50, there is no way to gain. Ten thousand bets of any amount will average with 0 gain/loss. The Martingale Method is only good at ensuring you do not lose your cash stack because you cant do a 100% bet.

 

If EVERYONE did this, we'd all double our money, and where would this money come from? Martingaling doesn't work.
