@RS Crown - CLEANED OUT MY ACCOUNT

Hi so apparently these services for questing, skilling, etc are all being done by a 13 year old because I thought I could trust this user and his services.

Payed 22M for 60 hunter and Monkey Madness II. Ended up getting cleaned and the idiot dropped my pet. Now the 'host' of the service keeps saying I shouldnt of left wealth on my account...it wasnt even near 100M. More like 70M. Place holders can show everything that is missing, including my BA Queen pet which took A LOT of time to get. That is why I am opening this report and pursuing it until I get an outcome that is fair and compensates me FULLY. Over 70M was took. I'm holding @RS Crown responsible because its up to him to screen and check who is doing his services. I was lucky I moved 20M cash to my level 3 or that would of been taken as well.

This is UNACCEPTABLE. HIRE PEOPLE YOU CAN TRUST. THIS IS SOMETHING A MONEY HUNGRY/SHADY INDIVIDUAL WILL DO - STOP HIRING KIDS FROM WORLD 2.

How they scammed: Provided the money for services mentioned above. Did some prequest and the person, 'Tom', who was doing the services and hired by @RS Crown took all my wealth and "quit" according to @RS Crown - nice way to start an exit scam.

What type of BS is it that I have to watch my wealth while buying a service from someone reputable? Especially when it wasn't even 100M.

P.S. Lol please don't be like "should of removed the wealth! 300$ DONATOR WINS!!" He should be held responsible. Only reason I put some wealth back was because I was supposed to get Enlightned Journey quest done + get 60 Firemaking when I had 50.

I already explained that you are not the only person receiving the service, the 70m or so I would have trusted my account trainer with because of the deposit. But when we have 10 orders at once I would rather the value be as low as possible as stated twice in my thread.

Does this mean I wont take responsibility? No, of course not, but its doubtful that this situation would arise if you come to the obvious conclusion that you account is not the only one being trained. As I had said you may only have 50m on your account but when we deal with 10 customers at once, that 50m quickly becomes 500.

Although the above is not entirely relevant to the report, I was happy to talk on skype regarding this and I'm fine to offer a refund, items, void and pets back.

From my experience with tom he seemed very trustworthy, he had paid a 100m deposit and had completed many skilling and questing services in the time that he had worked. In that time people had paid him for services without me even knowing and he had informed me about them.

As well as this I still he would have had a lot of orders complete tomorrow, the entire situation does not make too much sense.

From this we see tom gave me 43m, which makes no sense at all if he were to take money from other accounts, as well as me owing him $150 and all of the orders that he partially completed. All of the accounts he was training, the value on them was less than 100m and if above then barely so. It does not add up at all $200+ a 100m deposit for 100m. Before going any further on this I would like to wait for tom to come online and speak to me, its possible he took the gp, its also possible that a friend he was working with took the money. I am keen to get his side of the story. If I do not hear from him by tomorrow then my refund offer still stands, even though I did state that too much value should not be left on the account.

Either way there really was no need for this report, what was achieved that wouldnt have been in skype? I already stated I was keen to resolve this issue and fine to repay you.

yes, everyone I'v spoken to has been very honest about their account value though, I must say from what I'v seen what was taken was actually less than the deposit given, as well as money I owed him for. I'm trying to speak to him before everything is final and calculated, because as I'v said it simply doesnt add up.

From what I'v read above I do state only to leave 10m value on the account, I do not believe we would be in this situation if agc had followed this. I would like to find a reasonable solution for all parties involved though.

 

What doesn't add up, what was taken? I'm a bit confused...all the placeholders are there and I am a maxed zerker which all I do IS PK....even risk fight. You'll never catch me sitting 5 hours slaying or something. Sorry if it's not related to me.

and again the ONLY reason I put my wealth back was because 'Tom' instructed me to completed the Enlightened Journey quest + told me to go on the account if I wanted too until he woke up. So what did I do? I did what I do whenever I have free time on my zerker; PK. My pet IS insured so that adds 1M to the total owed since pet was destroyed/dropped. Can let ANY relevant mod on TV to confirm everything stolen, etc.

As you see by time stamps I was on from 2:00am till 4:30ish AM EST time firemaking and promptly got a response from 'Tom' (refer to IMGUR) - my guess is the hack happened right there. Almost 5AM and he does mention he goes to sleep around 11:30 PM in same convo. VERY ODD TIME TO BE ON IMO.

Does the worker have a Sythe account? Would you be able to provide some evidence that it was indeed the worker that in responsible for this?

In regards to the 10m situation, it depends whether you recommend it or if it's a must have requirement. Although regardless I think as the business owner you will probably be liable for this. (I can discuss this further with other staff)

 

Not to bash on @RS Crown head but he did recommend it. Never was this a part of any TOS....why should I be worried? This leads back to my point of him standing tall behind his brand. He's a 300$+ donor with an impeccable Sythe.org trading record...NOBODY IN THIS WORLD WOULD KNOW MY PASSWORD. I'm on a fresh install of windows and I haven't been hacked on RuneScape since literally 2007 when I sent my password to someone via Yahoo mail because I thought he was a mod. Not even trying to sound funny - those are the facts.

May I ask why evidence is required that he is responsible? I would not take less than 100m in gp, I wouldnt even take anything from anyone. I logged into the accounts he had been training after I had a customer complain, all accounts are the same, wiped of any little value they had.

I have also stated that I may decide to fully refund everything. I do not think I'm responsible for more than 10m plus pet, void and torso. But I am trying to think about this situation, if its decided that I only owe 10m I may still pay back more, regardless.

Right now the estimated loss (items) is around 80M

Bludgeon, Armadyl godsword, Whip, Toxic pipe + scales/darts, fury.

Also had around 2M in PK sets - d'hide body rune platelegs berserker helm potions.

My pet insurance is 1M 07, firecape is GONE and I am expecting 07 equivalent for a service, void top is also gone.

Admins please let me know the outcome.

Also what about the quest ? Technically the service was never completed and I payed 22M.

It's got nothing to do with trust. This is the way the process works. We deal with these cases based on facts and evidences.

Refund will obviously be given for any services that were uncompleted. I feel that you (company owner) should be held liable for the loss in wealth. Tom needs to pay you the amount he has scammed.

Do you have any reasons for why you shouldn't be held liable for the wealth in account? It's established that Tom has scammed @I Buy AGC therefore it is logical and fair to assume that he cleaned his account from wealth.

 

How long to wait for 'Tom'? Seems to me that gold is long gone and wont be handed back...let's be real.

 

So, regardless of a massive warning on my thread as well as stating not to have too much wealth on the account, still you think I'm responsible for a refund of everything on the account? I think that is ridiculous. I'm not trying to get insulting to agc, but its comparable to touching a fence that says "warning high voltage" with a man standing and shouting "dont touch that or you will get a shock", how can I be responsible for someone ignoring my warning. I would not even be in this situation if tom was not presented an amount of gp that seemed worth it to him. I know for sure that without the 70m what is owed is less than 100m.

But as I say, are you saying that I could scream "dont put more money than is needed for this" 10 times put 20 watning on my thread state "I would not be responsible for any wealth taken if you ignore my warnings" and still be responsible? Its completely insane. If you somehow do not see my side then I'm certianly going to ask for a second opinion, can you imagine being in my position having given warnings, and due to this I have to pay back multiple victims. Hes taken around 50m from other people so there is no way I would be in this situation if agc had followed what I said.

I feel bad as he has been subjected to this situation and I'm not trying to add insult to injury by saying its all his fault. I do not want to compare the situation at hand to more extreme situations such as the voltage fence I had mentioned earlier. It makes me sound like I'm trying to say he was dumb for not following my warnings. I'm not trying to imply that but its the only way I can find to show you how it feels to have been ignored and ended up here. As I say, if you are still not convinced ask other mods, I'm quite confident myself. Even with all this I'v said regadless I'm thinking of paying back a reasonable amount, as I dont think 10 would be fair.

You as the owner in my opinion should carry some liability in this case. If you want to compare can you imagine an owner of a company saying I wont refund you for what you have been scammed because it was my worker not me?

Tom was still representing your company and your brand which you own so liability has to follow.

What was the value of deposit you took from Tom? You can ask for as many opinions as you want as there is nothing wrong with that.

 

Why did you think it was a good idea to ignore my warnings? I'm trying to be reasonable and give you the benefit of the doubt. In my mind even I'm not even sure why we are discussing this part of the situation, it seems so obvious to me of how this part should be ruled. You had followed this earlier, you knew the risks and you trying to pretend now that you didnt.

AGC had stated that he took wealth off the acc due to my warning and then put it back later when pking, so you knew what was going on and decided not to comply with it a second time around. I was happy to repay a large amount but I feel as though this is abuse of the situation.
