Why isn't the steam group being pushed / sticky about it in the gaming section?

 

1. Because aside from LoL the gaming section is dead.
2. Steam group was never that popular on here anyways.

It was also never pushed in any meaningful way.

 

I don't think Steam's ever had a big 'thing' on here aside from the Market. Some users have Steam, that's about it. I'd say pretty much everyone who's a PC Gamer would know about Steam.

 

The second group was a fail, cause it was ran by an absolute moron.

The problem is alot of Sythe members wouldn't want to advertise their steam account on here, seeing as alot of the accounts sold on here are phished/stolen/cracked etc. whatever.

Saying that I go balls out and alot of folks know mine since I used my personal Steam to verify accounts.

 

I don't see how that is a problem. It is a detriment to the effectiveness of the group but not an inherit flaw with the idea.

 

Support, why the fuck has this not been pushed for yet, anyway?! How do you expect it to succeed with minimal effort...?

 

It seemed slightly pushed not too long ago. I don't know why we can't push it again.

If you put the effort into it, sure. But I don't know about ya'll, i try to avoid steam as much as possible when pc gaming.

 

Are you trolling? Steam is the #1 DRM distributor on the PC currently. They hit 65 million accounts recently.

 

Of course I'm free to but the staff should be doing it. I mean I should drop the idea that the staff does anything anymore. It hasn't been that way in years.

 

I don't think there are any staff members heavily in to or involved in Steam enough to lead a group.

In the same way you can not force people to get mod logs?

 

those who stay in their position obviously don't mind getting some modlogs, i'm sure someone who didn't like steam wouldn't stay in the position if they had to lead a steam group

 

You haven't said anything worth saying. The staff removes people who do not meet the requirements of staff as defined by staff. There is nothing special about the requirements that are defined by the staff. Redefining them does nothing. Some people may not enjoy doing what is required of them but that isn't any different than it is now.
