Jagex account linked with bought account

Just curious, if a OSRS account gets recovered from a Jagex accounts will the other accounts linked to the Jagex account receive a perma ban?

If so, is the any chance I would be able to appeal this?

 

How would those other accounts receive a ban because an account tied to a Jagex Account was recovered? Doesn’t make much sense.

Would Jagex flag the Jagex Account 1 as having "stole" or bought" another character after being recovered. If so, would Jagex then ban Jagex Account 1 (thereby deleting all characters associated with it)

 

Jagex wouldn’t ban those accounts, they would most likely get locked.

You only get banned for bug abuse, macroing or RWT.

 

Why would you even say something like this? This is 100% not true, Jagex can indeed perm ban account if they know it was sold. And that's not just according to game rules, I know account which was perm banned for account sale, and it was added to Jagex launcher and ban was issued after successful recovery attempt. But answering to OP, they shouldn't ban other accounts which were linked with the same Jagex launcher

 

The sale of accounts would fall under “RWT”, although rare. I’ve seen accounts resold more than 5 times with no ban. The typical procedure is the account gets locked, prompting the recovery by the original owner. Seeing as OP made no mention of the other accounts having participated in account sales, would render my original assessment of the situation, valid.
