No longer have my Authenticator app

Hey Sythe, A while ago I reset my iPhone with my authenticator for my Sythe account on it and now I have no way of logging on to my account because I cannot get passed that screen.

If I could get some help in recovering my account it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Yank,

First off, if you saved it, enter your long 2FA backup code that you were prompted to keep when setting up 2FA where you would normally enter your short codes.

When requesting a 2FA removal, please note the administrative team needs proof of two or more of the following things:

• Post from a home IP
• Recovery phone number*
• Current email address
• Skype/Discord used in the past or present**
• If you have donated directly through PayPal;
  • Transaction date and amount
  • PayPal email

NOTES:
*Registering 2FA to your account does not automatically add your number as a recovery phone number, you would have needed to add this manually in your Account Settings.

**Third party account access (such as email and Skype/Discord) are not substantial verification methods - the whole point of registering 2FA to your account is to have EXTRA security past regular recovery methods.

Failure to provide aforementioned details when requesting 2FA removal may result in a delay.

If you cannot provide what is required, then you MUST prove without a reasonable doubt that you are the true owner of your account. If you are unable to do this, your 2FA will NOT be removed.

Hey there Gen,

I am posting from my home IP address which is the same as Yank, I didn't donate through paypal. I donated via osrs gp which was advised by Sythe. I think maybe (removed) could be the email registered to my account or it also may be (removed). The skype account I used for Yank was 'live:frankadeth' but I don't use that anymore. The email could be (removed) for Yank aswell. (I have had so many hard to keep track. A lot of the email addresses I had in the past are now deleted. My phone number at home is(removed) but I don't know if I used that on the account.

This is frustrating trying to think back lol.

@Charlotte Hey Charlotte I am unable to reply in the other post I made about the 2fa Removal for Yank.

I understand you want to me list the recovery phrase for Yank, the recovery phrase is 'Zesty Cheese'

 

That is not the correct recovery phrase, please look at the hint again.
