    No clue what to do

    Hey,

I have no clue how to start typing so i will start from the beginning.
Once i finished High school at the age of 19 i went to college for a few weeks and quit since i was not interested and was expecting something completely different from the course i choose.
After sitting at home for a few month not knowing what to do i got a job and make around 3k gross salary(this is above average in my country). I have been doing this job for around 1 and a half year now.

Recently i have been thinking i made a mistake quitting college and have been thinking of going back to school but have no clue how to i doubt my parents are going to pay for it again and don't think i can combine a full time job and school also after doing some research into what a starter makes after finishing college it is only 2k gross but will increase after years experience and the job i currently have will not increase.

college should also take a minimum of 3 years. I am currently 21 and would really appreciate some knowledge and help from people. I actually have no clue what to do and have been staring at a wall for a good 4 hours thinking what to do and i am not anywhere closer to a answer.

I think you should go back to college, you're nothing nowadays without a degree. Of course, this time, choose a major you think you will enjoy and love rather than choosing something you believe 'pays good or my family told me this will be better' because if so, you will end up dropping out again.

Maybe switch to another course and go work part-time? Or simply stay in your current position and save up for college. During that time you will also have a clear idea on what you want to study.
Only you know what is best for you now and what will be best for you in the future.

    Best of luck bud.

Have you thought about staying in your current position while also taking night class's/online class's to work toward's a degree. It may not be the fastest way to accomplish it but at first you don't have to worry about loosing the salary your already comfortable making and if your situation changed you could transition into a full time college student

Perhaps you could ask your parents to /help/ pay for your college. Let them know that you know you've made a mistake, and are willing to work while in college, but that you won't be able to support yourself and pay for school simultaneously. You wouldn't be asking them to pay for all of it, just a fraction which you can't. Make an effort, ask for help. Your parents love you, I'm sure they'll compromise with you. If you truly want to go back to school, explain it to them.

It's easier than you think, they'll only want to help if this is something you genuinely want to do and will work at. Just be sure to stay dedicated.

Here in America we have base classes that we have to take regardless of major (i.e. science and math credits). Perhaps you could at least go to school part time and pay for these classes on your own. Once you prove to your parents that you really will stay in school this time, I'm sure they won't mind helping you.

You could also work for a few years and save money up to go to college. You may have to skip out on quite a few things, but it'd be for the best. Nothing is wrong with going to college in your mid or even late 20s. Whatever option helps you the best financially may be the best way to go.

Those are some options for you.

    Best of luck buddy.
