Explanation of the trade: I agreed to purchase an Apex Legends account with the Heirloom set. I was made to believe that the account would be given with the original email that was used to create the Origin account.

Amount scammed: $30

How they scammed: After some testing, I have discovered that the e-mail given was indeed not the original email used to create the account, and further evidence to corroborate with this is the fact that AOL reports that the account was actually made on the same day of the trade. He led me to believe, as you can see in the screenshots, that at the very least the e-mail he was giving me was quite an old e-mail because he had "deleted e-mails from a year ago" which of course cannot happen if the e-mail account is only a few hours old. He admitted that he changed the e-mail from his original e-mail but he refuses to refund me my money. After some talking, I attempted to make the account full access to me, but after a few HOURS on support with Origin support, they said that the original email is the only e-mail that can ever have full access of the account. I decided to even test this out, and changed the e-mail address to another random e-mail address and support refused to recover to my e-mail. The only person who can recover the account is Sodah, with his original e-mail account. He says he doesn't want to refund because he "already gave me access which makes the account unsafe for him to trade with in future" but it's simply untrue, he can always recover the account whenever he wants which is exactly why I paid $30 to get original e-mail as well.

Proof that it's their Discord: PMs on discord, he even replied with all the DMs sent to his discord as confirmation.

@xlumin8 can you show where he stated that he was providing the original email with the account? Also care to comment @Sodah ?

 

The account is 100% safe and I am the original owner of it, it will never be recovered and I told him if it ever is recovered I would give 100% refund. I do not think he deserves a refund for being worried about the situation. He bought from me trusting me and now he is worried I will recover. I had given him the emails. I thought one was the original and it apparently wasn't, the original email is my professional email and do not think I should give it out. Hope this helps the situation.

I would 100% have not purchased had I known it was not the original e-mail. The entire reason why I wanted to buy it was because he was going to give me the "original email".

 

@Sodah you will be required to refund the purchase amount and will keep ownership of the account due to lying and providing a false original email to the buyer. You have a received a DNT until this is done. @xlumin8 please update us when you have been refunded.
