Hunter, Fishing or Minning

Which skill is most profitable?

 

Mining can give you 400k-1m/hr with 85 mining, runite and the right stats/quests. However, it takes ages to get 85 mining. If you're botting, then the time it takes to get 85 mining may not really matter.

Fishing is much easier XP. All you have to do is bot, or turn your in-game sound effects on so you know when your fishing spot has moved. At sharks I can imagine one finding themself rolling in GPs. I doubt it's as profitable as runite mining though.

Hunter is probably the most painful to level up, yet the fastest. Chinchompas give a LOT of money on your way to 99 hunter but it's not necessarily fast money.

tl;dr runite>sharks>chinchompas in terms of time taken to acquire the necessary level and amount of GP/hr (runite takes forever to achieve and has the most gp/hr. chinchompas are very easy to achieve but give shit gp/hr at the minimum level)

 

Once you get 80+ hunter chins are great money, however botting carries a hefty ban rate.

Mining is great if you can get to 85 and rune mine, but there's quite a bit of competition for rocks depending on where you go

Fishing is stable income, fast to level. Ban rate is about on par with mining, from what I've seen.

 

I personally believe, hunter is probably the easiest way overall to make money, but it is definitely the highest ban rate. I have switched to botting fishing, since hunter caused bans, and I am working my way to sharks which I think will be good money. I have yet to try minning, and runite ore.

 

Any 3 will obviously be great choice. I'm not sure if there's much difference in gp p/h with the 3 skills but some may have higher xp rates than the others so thats something you can factor in.

Like hunting chins is probably more xp gains than mining runite at low levels and what not.

It's all gonna be pretty similar.

Fishing > mining > hunter

Fishing sharks at 76 is by far the least banable, and highest profit out of all three skills.

 

All three of them have quite high ban rates. If you're planning on playing legit, I'd go with hunter. If not, you should probably do something else, like combat-related skills or an unsaturated skill.

I disagree with a lot of you, I think fishing is the least profitable.

 

I guess everyone has their own opinions, when we look at it though, one skill can be just as profitable as the others, just need to find best area, best time, and best technique.

 

Exactly. The question was for most profitable, not lowest ban rate or easiest botting like most people are answering as.

 

efficiency wise, as for gp / hr i would go for fishing as it's pretty afk. We also don't know with new wilderness updates what is going to be good and what isn't too since all 3 of these skills will be carrying a new gp rate with these upcoming updates.

 

Yeah completely agree, and I think fishing right now for me is the best. But I need to try minning soon.
