Any tips for a noob like me?

So i have been trying some photoshop stuff out for my friends and me.
I must say i never watched a tutorial or something just f**king with it.

So i started of with getting a banner on the web and adding text to it like this.



This is a simple avatar i got extra for my discord from @BlackBlasses



Since i didnt use this avatar i thought to try some things out for my staff







And this i made for a friends gta clan



What do yall think, am i progressing and do you have any tips?

I really recommend watching youtube beginner tutorials. Sounds boring and pain in the butt, but you will skip 10 steps doing so compared to trying to learn by yourself.

Deviantart is good place aswell for resources and tutorials

 

Is deviantart a website or a channel on yt or something ?
And i actually lack time to watch tutorials as i am actually working on the gfx in bits and parts like 10 minutes at a time when i switch tasks

10minutes is enough to spend reading beginner tutorials.

i used to draw a lot on paper when i was a child and i wasnt too bad at it. My fathers side of the family all have somewhat drawing skills. But when growing older i had other things to do and i never had time to draw anymore.
When i started my server i noticed that i like to change gfx pretty fast and that this would be pretty expensive as a newcomer :,D
I got this adobe master collection for free somewhere so i decided to try it out and its rewarding to see what you made yourself
I did watch some vids by now too and like animating doesnt seem that hard tbh if you know what you are doing ofcourse.
Looking forward to anitmate something now

you should try to simplify your typography because it looks tacky and hard to read

you can make really nice looking stuff with normal fonts if you play around with the settings

you also need to look up some colour theory so that your stuff looks more traditionally aesthetic (this is a good thing)
