How are you handling the Nexus update?

I'm curious on the general reaction of Nexus botters will be to the update.

Personally, I bought many more auths to continue goldfarming, but I was wondering how others are reacting, especially with the ever falling price of gold.

 

Not going to buy more auths anymore, it's just ridiculous ... I'll be switching to RSBuddy primarily now, thanks Nexus -.-

 

Seem's a bit greedy on the scripter's side, considering the auths aren't exactly cheap in the first place........

 

Mark considers the 'abuse' of using scripts on multiple accounts lack of respect for the developers and himself.. But he's just a money hungry piece of shit, Nexus is the best client but the scripts offered are of comparatively low quality to most rsbuddy scripts now.. Which is quite sad, they never update either, I don't see why they think developers deserve 100's of dollars more money for their scripts when they don't even bother updating..

Some scripts haven't even been updated in over half a year and are broken as hell yet they keep selling, at ridiculous prices too.. I really wish there was a better alternative than rsbuddy.

 

Didn't affect me much since I don't bot multiple accounts much, but it does impact mass botters a lot.

 

It has messed up my operation big time. I was just after upgrading a load of accounts which were ready for RC. Now the RC profits aren't worth the bot price for each individual account.

Although, with RSbuddy I can still run multiple accounts.. so yeah I'm in the process of switching everything over to them now..

An unintended consequence of this move is that there will be less sales of the lower earning scripts like RC because it's not good value for money compared to FDK.

So yeah, all the money goes to one person basically.

Aimless - that's actually a great point. It's just a simple script which anybody with a bit of programming experience could come up with.. and these fucking cowboys want literally thousands of dollars for it. Fuck that!

 

It's going to make them more money, that's all care about.

Not actually, in the long term they're losing customers.

 

I bought 2 more auths. It sucks but what can you do? I paid for the auths from selling rsgp anyway. Will probably buy one more when my next char hits 85 dung and be done with 4 fdk bots running. My computer can't handle tons more anyway and that brings me to around 2bil a month or $1000 a month, it's still worth the price.

 

I pay for the script, can't even see the code for the script that I paid for.. and now they limit how I can use the script. Nexus is a fucking joke.

If I want 10 FDK bots I'd be paying $200 - fuck that, I could pay somebody to make the same script for that price!!

See, it's just ridiculous now. Don't pay those prices people!

It has left a huge gap in the market, somebody will come along, make scripts and sell them at a flat rate with no limitations.
The way it should be.

Btw, since everybody's botting operation has been abruptly halted - what are you doing now to earn GP? I've got my old Sorc Garden scripts going again. Trying to think of something to use the AutoFighter for =/

Anyone know any decent free scripts for the mean time? I don't want to waste all this membership I just got

I'm going to spam the RSbots forum, saying how RSbuddy is so much cheaper & better and you can bot multiple accounts.

And Idung pro is amazing compared to their slow, shit, rip off version. ^_^

 

I think the people who say 'I'm moving to rsbuddy now' are pretty damn dumb. Nexus was supposed to do this from the beginning.

You realize RSBuddy is the same exact way, right? Each license cant be on multiple accounts at a time, and the premium scripts aren't near as good as the ones on Rsbots. Pay an extra $4 or so, and you can get a full, flawless script, rather than some amateur coder's script, which doesn't work near as good. So, to all of you saying that, good luck to you. Also, you guys don't realize that it's an INVESTMENT. Sure, you pay a bit more in the beginning, but after a few weeks, the scripts pay themselves off and you're beginning to profit.

I'm personally loving it, FDK isn't as packed as before, more RSBuddy fdk bots=more deaths=more money for me.

You guys know for less then $1000 a month you can hire a coder that far surpasses the skills of the creator of nexus bot? Downfall is the coders won't have any experience with runescape. A lot of countries monthly salary is $500-1000 a month. I've come across coders that have went to school for 7 years and are full fledged internet engineers!

What i'm saying above is fact. Over the past 5-8 years of making money online i've met 1000's of Web masters from all over the world.

This is true for everything but idungpro. And yes, with rsbuddy you need to buy a script for every char. Just like nexus *if* it is a premium script. The vip scripts you can use multiple times.

 

True. It was just a suggestion. Some of you could possibly even pool together. $1,000 is high salary pay for some. You could probably get one for $400-500.... full time coder 40 hours a week.


Edit: Not all rsbuddy scripts are bad... a few of them are way better then any competing script. Reason I say this is I run a huge bot farm and I suicide with only 2 bans in a few months . I've tried running the same task from other scripts and found my accounts would log every few hours.

Yeah we know that they intended that from the beginning. But see how they waited until they had a huge customer base before they done this. It's because there are now a lot of people who relied on Nexus & the scripts that they bought. We are in a dilemma and alot of people are feeling forced into buying all these auths to sustain their business.

It was stupid for Nexus & RSbuddy to do this at different times, because now everybody who is left with 20 members accounts is going to use the free scripts on RSbuddy - and also the paid ones because there is no auth limit right now.

And even when RSbuddy decides to bring this in, their scripts will still be much cheaper than Nexus - so why would we ever change back?

Nexus = fucked itself over. It's a slippery slope down from here.

RSbuddy is gaining so much recognition from this, spread the word people. Protest and we may see some changes, or choose to stay quiet and take it up the ass from Mark whateverthefuckyacallhim.

 

Fact is rsbuddy's visitors have been quadrupling monthly even with out this recent event. I remember not to long ago some of my scripts only had 500 users and now they have 8,000+
