Pretty sure you don't...

When you use the spell, you use a rune. When you use the spell on a rune, you use 2 runes.

So unless you get double the price of the rune back, you're making a loss.

 

too bad you need a nature rune in order to alch one. you are turning two nature runes into 200 gold

You're still losing money, but it wouldn't be bad if you were looking for a quick item i guess.

 

The alchemy price is 223, the price of two runes is 392. You're making a big loss.

 

you lose 200 gold per cast. might as well alch needles
