2) Bonfire training in your POH
3) NEW Bonfire training at the Grand Exchange

Probably another few weeks, maybe a bit over a month or so. That's just an estimate though.

I've got a question for ya trent, will RiD ever come to the stage where you can run more than one bot on one computer? That's the only thing that's ever annoyed me about RiD (even though i've still got a chunk of credits)

 

Yeah, it's been like that for a few years now, actually.

You can run a bot for each Virtual Machine you use. However, not multiple of the same bot.

For example:

I could run the Cooking bot in one VM, and then run Pest Control in a second VM on the same computer. But not a Cooking in both, or a Pest Control in both.

There's a guide in the Knowledgebase -> Extras section for how to minimize the bot, and it is what most of our users use to run their bots. It allows them to minimize it, as well as run multiple different bots at a time if they wish.

The guide is 100% free, and contains EVERYTHING you need to set it up. There is even a 100% genuine, 100% legal unlimited license copy of Windows XP that has been customized by Adam to remove all of the unnecessary junk, minimize the file size, and optimize it for top performance in VirtualBox (the VM software that is supplied in the guide).

 

Is VM like a VPS? Does it cost to own one pretty much? Could you please link me to the guide :3

 

Not quite. A Virtual Machine is on your computer. It's like having a computer inside a computer if you get what I mean.

The OS is completely separate from your main computer. It allows me to run Windows XP while on my Windows 7 computer, and still use W7 like normal.

Firemaker and Powerminer have been given updates to improve their run-time

Lots of little bugs and GUI bugs have been tweaked as well.

 

Is there a VM for mac? If not it looks like I'd better fix my PC lol

The guide for installing it on a Mac is exactly the same as the guide shows for Windows. Only difference is that you install the Mac version of the VM software.

I have an iMac that I can very very easily run 3-4+ VMs at a time

 

Trent, tell RID that he needs a Slayer bot! I have nothing else to bot except that really...Urgh

 

RiD makes whatever bot he feels like making. All skills will be covered eventually; it's just a matter of time.

 

Alright, thanks a bunch. Looks like I might be running a few RiD bots then, but it's a shame that you can't run two of the same script on the same account at once :/

 

Augh, this is actually pretty tempting. Usually not a huge fan of RiD because it doesn't seem to function as well as injection clients. My last trial was quite a while ago though and I might give something like ridverse a shot!

 

v1.9969 has been released. The removal of Software Mode from RS caused many bots to not function properly. This update adds support for Safe Mode, OpenGL, and DirectX graphics mode. This means you should be able to bot using any GFX mode.

Old School RS bots are also available through the same download. These are so far free until they leave beta and become premium.
