What VPS should I buy?

I have no knowledge on VPS's at all. So I'm turning to you guys for help. I pretty much need something that can run at least 3 bots smoothly with no lag.

I also need something cheap. Any website suggestions, tips, and help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Although Vergil is quite good at setting up the VPS (use him if you get one), I plan on scrapping it and getting an actual computer, I am pretty unimpressed that the biggest burst.net VPS package cant even handle 4 SW bots without lagging and getting awful zeal rates.

 

Dude, if I got a computer, my whole family would use it and download all sorts of programs. On top of that, our electricity bill is higher than ever. I need something that will reduce it.

 

The bill is the reason I got a VPS as well.

Before purchasing this, I want to see if I can get a better, or cheaper VPS. Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

 

The link in my sig. Click on that, then go to virtupulse.com. Prices are great (cheapest is 5$) and you get two IP addresses + great support. I don't use it for botting, but I'm pretty sure it could handle botting just fine.

 

If you don't mind me asking, what other uses do you use it for? And I couldn't find a $5 VPS. The cheapest I saw was $7, and it was an unmanaged VPS. If you could fill me in on what that exactly means, I'd appreciate it.

I host a few websites on my VPS. Unmanaged typically means you manage the vps on your own. On virtupulse, (owned by the company as the one in my sig) the 5$ comes with first month managed, so you will be able to ask them to help set up whatever you need.

 

Bursts.net is a really good VPS provider.

Currently, I'm using some new VPS service that specializes in VPS dedicated to running RS bots. The website is vps4rs.com if you want to check it out. Everything is set up and I can vouch that it's a decent service. While the customer support isn't 24/7 - They usually give fast responses.

Well I wouldn't recommend getting a virtual private server as they are sometimes unreliable. But in your case you would need to get one. So I would recommend getting what Cp suggested, it can run about 3-4 bots at one time and is pretty cheap for what you're getting.

Hahanerd, buy it from burst.net (I suggest Package 2 or 4)...Depending on how many bots you want running, I have package 2 currently and it can run 2 bots quite well.

Pick your OS template as Centos 5.

After you've paid for it and they sent you the details for the VPS, contact me and I'll gladly set it up for you ...OR I can show you how to do it over Teamviewer if you want .
