Although most (nooby) people will tell you that it's an improvement, I think this is worse than before. Your unique pen tooling would have led to great things later on when you mastered it. Now that you've gone the brush whore path, it will take a long time before you'll be good. IMO stick w/ pen tooling, and try to start making vectors.

 

What he said + try working on blending and flow.

 

Pen tooling is a wonderful thing and will get you a lot further in a graphics career than applying 3 brushes on a canvas and calling it art.

 

ok...lmao well on my last sig everyone was like STOP PEN TOOLING EVERYTHING and they told me to use more brushes...do u think it will be better if i take out the brushes and put some pen tooling in?

 

Yes.

Those idiots who said to use brushes are fucking stupid. Keep doing what you were doing before w/ the pen tool, it will take you much further in GFX.

Nah, they both suck but that doesn't really matter, you jsut started doing GFX. What matters is you got the right game plan so that eventually you'll be unique, unlike the other 384938493 people.
