anyone think they will reverse the update?

 

I guess Im not the only smither who feels like runescape has taken everything I/they worked for...

Sad..reminds me alot of a person I used to know in rs though.. it's somewhat.. touching?

 

It will never be reversed...We all have to realize Runescape is dead.

 

Dude, u made me want to cry. I totally understand everthing you say. I gave up for 1 year the year before this year and was back last summer. Then one time i was back from my birtish boarding school back home is hong kong went on RS. I was soooooooooo exicited. I read the updates and i first felt people who do real world trades deserved this, but then i can't have the happy days where helping newcomers to RS-AKA my sister, no more helping quests for friends in school, even my teacher! (i was the highest level in the whole school lol) Jagex had just ruined their investment.
The day after the update my sister gave up, my teacher gave up, my friends gave up. All gave up playing.
One week after the update, no1 talkes about RS anymore. They just say "it's a really bad game and u just walk around and do nothing and I gave up in 5 minutes. Do u still play?" Then i told him that i still do and is a level 73.
Then he said" You are such a nerd, get some friends." I felt"............" Wanted to slap him is the face and chuck him out the window and make him play RS for his life. lol Jk. (I just walked away looking very sad, i was completely not concentrating in my maths lesson and got a detention lol)

I really really really agree with everything he says , And it brings back old memories.

 

Greatly written. It's all true. In order to "save" their game from RWT and bots, they destroy it by introducing ridiculous updates.

 

Yeah.. Its very touching.

I didn't understand the title at first, but after reading it.. "soloscape" is really what its turned out to be. These days In Runescape you can't do simple things like be glad you just got into the mining Guild without someone spouting off "noob!".

Its very sad, Runescape was so nice when I first started playing it back in 2004... now its....

 

Yeah that was quite touching, also very true.

 

When you look at runescape that way..it's so touching..

 

Wow that was touching. Reminds me of when i first started out and a would always die on the way to varock. From the wizards or i would not eat in time and then you always had freinds to give you the armour back i miss all of that

 

its sad the way runescape has turned, it doesnt have the same environment. I think everyone has had someone smith you a set of iron or steel and you where like wow. and thats what made me get my smithing up. everyone helped everyone back in the old days.

 

I think Jagex has had went over the limit on the trade thing. It was a very touching story and I would like for someone to make a petition so we could all tell Jagex that they had gone over the limit and to share this guys story with many others!

Yes it was very Touching and Interesting story in my opinion.

I woulden't mind having a Friend like Him.

He seem's to be One of those People who like's to Give and help People.

I loved the Story more than let's say a Interesting Book.

And now I think it's not really worth Playing RuneScape anymore but I still will play as long as most of my Friend's play. =P

But still I feel how that Person feel's.

And I was quite shocked as well.

And I think I told People this before but I just wish Jagex would reverse it and not even think of the Update's.

I think that Guy has took alot of time to write something like that and I would very much reward Him for it.

But I'm abit umm let's say not Rich anymore.

Anyway's loved the Story. =P
