    For those who don't know; peer to peer downloading using programs such as bittorrent have now been banned here.

    It's good in a way that something is being done, but there are still MANY ways around it.

    Uh... How is this supposed to help? Anybody can use Tor to get around this, and you get 3 penalties, so if you get busted, you can learn without getting a fine.

    Honestly I'm ashamed of the NZ government for this... Look at the laws in sweden:

    It's probably from a decrease in torrents and other P2P sharing, which take up huge amounts of the internet.
