We have two fishtanks, my dad would take care of the saltwater tank and I'd take care of the freshwater tank. After a while I got bored of it and the saltwater tank was retired. Now we just have a freshwater tank with a few fish still alive haha.

Saltwater fish tanks are expensive and require alot more maintenance.
I currently have a fresh water tank, with around 80 fish in total and they don't require as much to keep alive.

Salt water tanks are expensive due to the fact that most saltwater fish are exotic, A special filter is required and due to the corrosiveness of salt, the filter must be changed at least once per week. Also, in saltwater tanks you have to monitor the ph/alkaline level of the water daily, because if there's any change the fish will die.

I currently have at least 4 tank that I need to take care of. Ranging from large to small.
I don't find it expensive nor do I find it that much of work. It is much more fun than a freshwater, I can tell you that.

Freshwater is so boring, nothing to look forward to in freshwater.

I have no saltwater tanks but currently I have 2 freshwater tanks, One 55G with African Cichlids and a foot long Plecostomos and my other tank is a 20G with an Angel and a small Red Tail Shark.
I really want a saltwater tank but they are expensive I've heard.
