New way to trade accounts.

To be fair it's not that hard to code it only requires some simple mysql and php to be put into the site as sythe.org already has databases (to store all users) and so only a new table should be made to put this is that is all.

I am going to sleep now i will respond to any questions or remarks about this tomorrow.

Remember that YOUR support is needed to ever get this off the ground so please post that you like this idea or post a way for me to make it better.

just because an asian gold farming site has used this same method doens't mean it makes us look like on this is just to make the blackmarket less chaotic an makes it easier for eveyrone to find an account they like.

And if you would really have checked that site it works totally different.
At the site there is a form that you fill in if you want to sell your account to them and then they put it in their list it's almost the same as posting a thread here instead of that they actually post the thread for you.

The way i want to do it is just make a way to contact 2 players to eachother who are buying/selling an account so that people don't have to spend loads of time searching the black market for a nice account.

 

Basically you want to make a sort of account auction thing.... I have thought of this before, and it could work, but it would take a load of time to make. We would also have to link it to people's Sythe accounts also.

You would need to add a description of the account, type of account (From some sort of list), search function, ect.

It would also need administrator things to remove accounts and such. It would take a long time to code alone...

 

I have the time. I already coded the first part and it's working and there is not really a need for a search function actually i just check if all the skills are higher or the same as the skills requested and if the price is lower or the same as requested and then tells the one who looked for the account what the possibilities are.

Everything starts with a Step.. and I support your idea. Would be nice if Sythe could round up a team to see if this can develop into something workable.

 

I like the idea but I think it would be a pain to code. I know for a fact that it would make sythe by far the best site and probably rake in so much traffic for people buying and selling accounts for convenience it wouldn't even be funny. But I think you would have to have a way for it to be like a smart search thing. Like there would be category but at the same time use the same system that you have. So like if your searching for accounts you could put like 50+ in a box and it would find accounts with that stat at 50 plus, and have all the boxes on 0 and have it set on if its left at 0 it means you dont care. That way people would be able to specify what they want and what they really don't care about.

 

This looks epic. Support reaally hope it gets passed. also i think you should do skill ranges instead of individual skills so 10-20 2-30 ect and show accoutns that don match exactly aswell

Thx for all the support i heard alot of people saying that it will be really hard to code but to be fair it isn't that hard i'm busy with a test-server and you can just use a for each statement in PHP to check accounts and put them in a list.

Also Fallen soul i agree with you that it should be categorized but that is not for the first beta i now made a search function that will just check all accounts.

remember people this is my idea and i'm constructing it because i know alot of mods have a lot more on their mind that making such an time-consumig project so i won't need any helps from mods making this aldue i would like some mods to check the code when it's done to make sure it's scam proof and error-proof.

Because of the many questions about it in this thread i will now explain how exactly it works.

To put an account in the database you just fill in the form (picture in first post)(added min price and a/w) and then the account will be added to the database.
If you are looking for an account you can kinda fill in the same form and set a max price for what you want to buy and it will look for any account wich min price is lower then ur max price and all skills that you state to be same or higher (if you don't care about a skill put in 1 (or 10 for hp) and it will then just ignore that skill.

Also im making an option to set a skill so that it's only allowed to be that skill lvl for example if you want an obby mauler you probably don't want it to have attack or defence so you can choose that.

The system works with a simple search option and a for-each PHP statement that will put every find that matches the search into a table and then give it to you when done searching.

this is the general i hope everyone understood it if you have any question please post and remember if you're reading post if you suppor tthis idea or if you don't support tell me why so i can improve.

i have almost completed this after wich i will give it to mods for checking.

I'm currently adding a feature wich i need ur oppinion about.
I have seen on other sites that people get a good remark for everycompleted trade and a bad remark for bad trades and i'm adding this for now as it might stop the huge amount of scammers on sythe.org
