New way to trade accounts.

That would indeed be an idea but the problem is then that you'd still have to search manually for them and this system is made so that you don't have to look for accounts.

Also what is supposed to be a range tanker? an account with only range and defence or also some str and attack.
and what catagory would half mains be under.
it's a nice idea but way to complicated as you would have to specificy every class of runescape and there are so many that it would take ages to make also this just takes all accounts at once so it's much easier.

an argument against this is that you could get an account with let's say you look for 40 attack and 70 str and you get someone with those stats and 99 thieving that's y i added a search also for price that if you get such an account it will still be cheaper then the max price you want to pay and so it will just be a free extra.

also i think of adding a kind of ref system in this so that next to the current owner of the account is the amount of good and bad trades he has cause that is really easy to make.

also there is gonna be some space for comments in wich you can place things like that it got fire cape/ torso/ inferno adze or something like that. So thsi will be almost exactly the same as the current marketplace except that it will go a dozen times faster

 

I've thought about this and figuring out an easy way to implement it but it would be a lot of work to get this fully functional. Its all up to Matthew, and he is a busy person =/. Also the way we have things now is alright and is easy to help find/ban scammers.

I totally agree with you that it might be hard to get to work and Matthew probably doesn't have time for such a big project that's y i am offering to make this and just give the code to you (the mod team) to check it and implent it.

So your system doesn't search for them? Because what I suggested is in fact searching, but yours is almost exactly the same. The only thing I am changing is what you are searching for. Your search is for levels, I say nay nay. People do not search for levels. They search for types of accounts.

And no, it would NOT take forever to make 'all those categories'. Even when there would only be around 15 categories. Also, 'half mains' are worthless and will never sell. Considering that nobody even knows what a 'half main' is.
And if you are interpreting this to be someone without a 99 stat, and maybe lower levels, that would go into the "One 99 or Less" category.

yeh but as i already told you everyone has a different idea of what an zerker pure or an obby pure is and this ay people could just define that stats they want
say they want a perfect zerker they put in there 70 attack 99 strength 45 defence 52 prayer 99 range 94 mage (my idea of a perfect zerker *tip*) and then just leave all other on 1 (basic value)

the system you suggest work kind off with the same idea but then just in categories wich makes it alot bigger

I'll tell you how many. Zero.

Guess how many people are selling zerker pures (Yes, everyone knows what a fucking zerker pure is, if you didn't know you wouldn't be buying one)

Probably around 5 people are selling zerker pures. So I would rather have 5 threads to sort through, than zero.

But I don't know, that's just my opinion.

 

this is just an example... and btw zerker pures with those stats are being sold.

and if you would just type in for example 70 str 40 atack 45 defence you would get all zerker pures

im not only gonna make it higher then what you implent but also a maximum to a skill you're looking for so with defence just look between 40 and 45 for example so you wil lstill have the 5 threads you want without having to click category.

That's probably true why i suggest making a max of 1 account per 4 hours (taken from the runescape exchange)

serius sellers often don't mind w8ing with posting an account and noobs would be totally stopped by this.

Also it would of course be controlled by mods and thx to the ref system im gonna implent in there if this get's accepted you can also choose to only show people with more then 1 ref wich will filter all noobs out.

 

This sounds pretty decent, but make sure that if this gets done to have some sort of closing option when your trade is done or you just cant sell it.

(or an option where the account trade gets deleted in X days)
