New to Staking/PKing. Help needed!

Hey guys, i have a new account in the making. Was going to be a level 3 skiller, but i decided why not make a PKER/Staker.

What skills would I need for an effective PKer? Gear for him?

What about staking?

I don't know much about either, but i'd -love- to try either.
Newly made account will be the main pker/staker, but I also have a main.

stats are sometihng around, 120 combat
69 summoning
90 attack
89 str
90 defence
89 range (or 88
78? Mage
70 prayer
More stats will be added as requested.

so, i guess my questions i - Can my main PK effectively with these stats?
gear options?

Edit: Main is P2P.
Side account is currently F2P, but considering upgrading him to P2P if I can get some good advice, because generally p2p has better staking (i know this for sure) and pking?

Make sure you wear good armour (barrows) else other pkers will down you easy

 

For Staking:
-Max out Attack, Strength, Defence and Constitution (HP). Otherwise, you'll have to look up everyone's stats all the time, and you generally have less than 50% win-chance.
For PKing:
You have kind of high stats, but get 95 Prayer (turmoil) as you can't compete without it. Also get 94 Magic for Vengeance. 99 Strength will surely help you out.

 

Edit: So, what stats should I be shotting for for a pker? was thinking of being around the levels of 100 - 120.

My account was 70 prayer with 81 atk 95 str 75 def... but fighting my levels i was 113... was quite hard so i got 95 prayer and now its much easier so i suggest you do the sames its gna cost you but it will be helpful in the longrun with pvm and pvp

and on staking max out basically except range mage n pray...
so u can dds - rapier or dds to whip or just plain box fighting

I'll do that with my pure. Gonna get him 95 prayer costing 0 gold, once i get the Perf SW bot, ofc.
Then i'm going to basically get near those stats, put like 10 runesets, 10 whips etc and see what I can pk.
might grab dh and pk with that once I get better etc.

More input if i've missed anything would be great.
For staking, going to do either mage boxing, or just plain boxing. What are the common rules for these?

What are the ways people will cheat, like switching which options on etc etc.

Main-ish stats are decent for dh-dh fights. 95 pray would help but is not a necessity. The only actual necessity = veng. No veng should equal no pking!
