the stand book cover redesign

cnc is not needed as the project is finished but fill free. i just wanted to share it and get some other options.

 

Why the man face have those "painting ripping off the wall marks" just wanting know. and other wise thank for sharing.

 

just to give the dark side a bit more of a grungy look. kinda like he is weathered.

 

I think the back cover should be cleaner. The back cover is really the selling point of a book to a casual book buyer.

 

yeah thats how i had it at first but when i had a critique in school they wanted me to match it up with the front. so i had to do that just to get a good grade

 

well they're teaching you wrong. Haha.

 

The Stand is a post-apocalyptic horror/fantasy novel by American author Stephen King.

I think it does a decent job of it and I prefer your front cover over any of the existing ones. Nero is right though. I mean it is a sound idea to try and incorporate some of the design aspects from the front but definitely a less is more situation. The front cover serves to pique their interest and have them pick up the book but, like Nero said, the back cover is truly the selling point.
