New to CS:GO [Need Some Help]

I am new to CS:GO I am really interested in it and looking to start playing it more and trying to get good at it. I came from Console Competitive CoD and wanted to try something new and seeing guys from CoD starting to play CS:GO so I wanted to give it a try.

I recently bought a Razer Deathadder Chroma and dont really know whats a good setting to set it on but I've heard its a great mouse to use and got great reviews. I've heard people used around 400 DPI and a really low sensitivity in game, but it seems I got to do large swipes for me to turn is that natural or is there something wrong?

Also, I am thinking about getting a keyboard as well and I am coming into conclusiong between the Razer Blackwidow Chroma and the Corsair K70 RGB. I am looking to get one of them and heard the Corsair is better but I would have to order it online since none of my retail PC Game stores carries them and I dont want to wait a week but my local store carries the Razer Blackwidow Chroma and I tried it out felt great but the Keyboard feels really clicky and loud and it seems like a finger magnet attraction overtime I can see. I heard that the Corsair build quality is way better than the Razer and the keyboard is better as well since it uses Cherry MX rather than the Blackwidow using some type of knock off switch. Not sure if anyone has the Corsair but how is it?

If anyone is willing to teach me and help me with all these setting and setting up and etc would be grateful and also caring me in CS:GO would be great lol. Thanks

How low have you heard? Normally pros use anywhere from 2-4 ingame sensitivity. The gap is quite big because anything really works and some are more comfortable with lower, others with higher. Large swipes can be normal and some pros prefer it. Some people plays with their arms (low sensitivity and large swipes) while others use their hand (higher sensitivity). Getting a nice big mouse pad helps. Something like this. As for the keyboard part, I don't believe the keyboard plays a big role in your performance, just pick the one you are more comfortable with.

Check out this guide. I also recommend you watch a couple streams on Twitch. They can teach you a lot if you're willing to learn and understand what they do and why. Look out for the upcoming ESL One Katowice tournament where 16 of the best teams plays in a lan event.

Lowest I heard for DPI is 400 in game settings 1-4. I came from CoD on Console and I am use to be playing on a really high sensitive so coming to CS:GO when I move I feel like I am unable to look and turn as smoothly or quickly and I have to do somewhat large swipes to do that.

Yeah, I heard about ESL Tournament same as the CoD $1,000,000 Tournament thats happening I am more into CoD but I would like to learn the basic of CS:GO some callouts and etc. I watched pro team play other pro team but the way seems so easy watching I am that type of person that has to go and play and learn than watching.

Use higher. See how you play. Adjust it when you can. Moving passed your target? Reduce the sensitivity a bit and see if it occurs. Feel like it's too low? Increase it. I have a friend that is comfortable with 6, you don't have to follow the norm but it's a strong suggestion on where to start. Some people believes they're really good and they just have to find that click. So they continuously look for pro's sensitivity and think they can be as good with the right sensitivity. Also here's a spray tutorial by one of the best players in the world, Friberg. Just skip and look for the part where he's shooting and explaining.

My friend plays also on 5-6 sensitivity in-game and like 2000 DPI. It's insane, but he finds all the headshot. I play on 2 sensitivity and about 1800 DPI myself.

I use a Razer death adder and Razer blackwidow.

Now with the sensitivity, you should just play with the settings until you find what is comfortable. Some people use 400 dpi others use 2000 dpi, it is all personal preference and you should do what you find is comfortable after some testing around.

As for gameplay, aim is extremely important and you should become familiar with recoil patters of guns. Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Deathmatch is all I can say to improves this, I usually play one or two games before going into competitive as a warm up.

Feel free to ask any more questions :)
