New Thread Design

So after about a year I decided to redesign my graphics shop thread. Thoughts?

Still a WIP tbh, will prly update it here and there over the next week.

 

The animation crashed my phone lol

 

It looks nice, but I feel like if you don't do something about the 20MB animation, your customers will be to the bottom of the thread before it loads. The aliasing in the animation where the shield meets the background is also immediately noticeable. All in all, I think it suits the target audience and does a good job selling your work.

 

To be completely honest, this is good, but I like your old one better. The animation isn't my favourite and the 'Welcome' just doesn't do it for me.

I do like the text on the content, how it's laid out and the backdrop with the c4ds on the background a lot.

By the way, this one is VERY large, I don't know if you did that intentionally or so, but I have to scroll left and right to view it

 

I am not a fan. The animation is way too much and it causes slow loading and like Ghast if someone is trying to view from their phone it's probably not going to be able to handle it. It looks similar to pretty much every other layout done. Should start looking into a more original style now.

 

'Anything' should be bolded in the 'I will make anything' line, not the other text.

 

The welcome text looks like it should be used in a Halloween theme and Nero is right, this style is pretty much made by everyone in this graphics section.

Btw, the Flare on the right isn't reflected on the opposite side. Is that intentional?

Other than that the animation is quite cool I guess but it's annoying to look at continuously looping. Why don't you try making it run through one time only?

 

i like the design, and i'm not a gfxer but from a random's point of view, "welcome" is a bit difficult to read

Lol, yeah I might end up changing the animation to something more subtle.

The animation lags for me, even on my computer (keep in mind, my computer is crap.)

 

Animation is amazing. but kinda laggy.
props though looks real good

 

Despite multiple attempts the thread layout never loaded for me, that might be a bad sign =p!

 

The first time i saw it I was listening to pink floyd. It went well together.

Like others have said, I think it should only run through once or have the stars flying past repeatedly. As well as shrinking the width a bit. Looks sexy though

Edit: but ill always love your old fire one. Really inspired me.
