Forcing sellers to post pictures in Market section.

The idea is simple. Before a seller may start a new thread in a market section, the seller must include the pictures which are required to post. This could be done by a popup with textboxes in it for URL's and a upload button to upload from your computer. If someone doesn't upload all images which are required, then the thread will no be posted.

This would save mods time, prevent people getting mad because their threads get locked, spam of people asking for pictures and possibly prevent people from selling items they don't have (scamming).

If this could be implemented it would be awesome. I do not know how hard it would be to get this to work but if it wasn't to hard I would love it.

Support 100% as long as this can be implemented without toooo much effort.

 

Every seller is required to have 4 pics, but i just report them all day, they'll learn eventually.

Yes Marine but it if you could not be able to even make the thread viewable (I.E you get a message saying "Your thread does not meet the picture requirements above" or something like that then there would be no need to report or anything.

 

There are already rules for this. If they don't follow them, too bad for them.

 

Just infract them, infractions = temp ban, which eventually = perm ban (if they keep doing it).

 

Locking a thread takes quite some time. And mods are not always online. This suggestion will not only save the mods time, but also the seller and potential buyers. It would possibly prevent more scams. Isn't this better for everyone?

And why can't it be implanted?

Wouldn't it be better to prevent people being infracted?

 

They generally get caught anyway. Moderators (Such as Spyike) and many regular members are prowling through these sections trying to catch sales without pictures. So really isn't a required update.
