New skillcapes. Laziness of Jagex mods RS3.

I laughed so hard when I logged in and saw a couple of people wearing their skillcapes. They look awful.

 

They aren't horrific but they don't make sense. Skillcapes (if you were in the RuneScape world) show you are a master of your art. They were grand, big shouldered and big collared because they're supposed to be fancy to make sense. Your character (although it is a MMORPG) is the main character in the game and is like one of these few dudes who has mastered the skill besides NPC's. Now the capes just look like standard, dressy capes.

I dont mind them too much except I wish they were more diatinguishable from one another in the bank.

Hopefully they'll change them a bit, even if they do have a Solomon version. But like.. doesn't having to put a Solomon retro version out for every update you do to items not switch some kinda lightbulb on in their heads that their graphic designers are terrible?

 

I used to love the skillcapes for the plates on the shoulder and because they didnt look like any random clancape like nowadays... Jagex fked up again tbh

 

I don't find them that bad tbh, they just need tweaking a little, way to thin... and the front looks like your characters wearing nipple tassles O_O

 

Ugly.

They're adding free versions to the store. Which doesn't make sense. Skillcapes and phats are the symbols of RS. And now they've changed one of them. Jagex is single-handedly killing their game. Whatever.

 

They know it's terrible, they're just allergic to full on reversals because it's an admission of failure. Jagex sucks at admitting failure.
