New signature and avatar!

What do you guys think of my new signature and avatar? Tried some poly effects :/

 

I really like the avatar because it is so simple and clean.
The signature is also good but I kind of dislike the red parts at the bottom it makes it look strange imo. and I also dislike the flame/yellow thingy in the middle because it looks like you could not decide whether it should be in front of the text or not, now it just looks weird when it is somewhat behind but also in front.

 

Thank you very much for the feedback. Could you specify on "now it just looks weird when it is somewhat behind but also in front." The layer with the fire/yellow thing is on top of every other layer.

Avatar is decent.

The signature needs work however. The lighting is far too strong which creates a focal point and detracts from the text itself as you notice the c4d/flare and not the text. I'm not a fan of text upon text but that is neither here nor there.

The piece is also quite low quality, almost as if it were saved as a gif or something but it is saved as png. Not quite sure what made that happen.

 

Avatar is good.

Need to work on making the materializing of the signature look more realistic.

Also it looks LQ

 

As Jack had mentioned the light effects you've added are drawing away from the main text. They're too overpowering, try using effects that would compliment the poly effects you've already added in. The text also looks low quality too me. What render settings are you using?

The avatar is clean and simple, I like it. Keep up the good work static

 

I do like the texture on the white and i like the effects both on text/red/flame. If anything take advice from the two comments above change some colors and opacity on certain things.

I love the avatar. Simple and elegant.

Signature looks decent, I would personally use it and be proud of it, however the light really is too bright. Also, the red arterial splatter could be moved. Maybe make it look like it splattered from where the light is and dull the light down slightly?

just a thought!

 

the effect is cool but it doesn't match your name as much as I'd like. Some of the lighting is poorly done.
