~Free Guide to No Ads in Free Worlds~

This is quick, simple guide on how you can get no ads on F2P. I've actually found this out awhile ago, but my main is temp. banned so I might as well make a guide.

This method is old, but it still works.


NOTICE: This works best on Firefox.


Step 1: Pick a World.




Step 2: As soon as you see the Runescape screen loading, quickly press the red X.




Step 3: Enjoy playing without any ads on F2P!

You could also download Adblock Plus. Its a plugin for firefox and blocks ads on web pages.

 

Or that. :s

But if you don't feel like downloading another program, you can always use this method.

firebug works and the applet goes to the top so it looks like a members world

even though i dont use free.

 

Pretty cool, i also know a way that completly removes them like, press the world switching button if your on a member world and pick a free world and it won't refresh the page you will be able to acess it like a members world. Don't ask me how... gets annoying..

 

I personally use that method myself. Can RS track down if you used your method?

 

I wouldn't think so, even using Adblock Plus, since they only detect what happens in the Runescape screen.

yeah adblock is sweet this is to ima use it sometimes, but y do we need to block the ads?what harm do they do?

 

They slow you down, make you lag, and get in your way...
