Is now the best time to buy a phat?

or will they drop?
I'm seeing some odd activity with the phats this past few weeks
they are rising very rapidly, are they on the verge of a massive drop, or dump?
would it be a mistake to buy a phat now, or wait to see if they will drop a little bit? I hate this situation because if they go up it will be out of rich if they go down and I buy than I'd regret buying so high, I need help.

 

Although sometimes they go down, rares will only rise in price. Take it from someone who has played RS since late 2001.. i remember having troubles selling santas for 250k almost a year after they were dropped for 2002 holidays, now they are over 100m.

 

You could wait it out thinking they will end up dropping a bit, and then next thing you know their up a few hundred mill. I would buy one, as more money/items are brought into the game through botting, most items will crash. The only item that will continue to rise will be the items that can't be botted, can't be brought into the game, are slowly getting rarer, and are desired by almost every single player; the partyhat.

 

theyve been going up a bit recently just buy one now and help raise their price

 

I don't think phats will ever drop. The market price will eventually hit street price which may cause some people to panic, but essentially, if you buy a phat, the investment is safe.

 

phats will continue to rise no matter what. more and more are leaving the game due to people quiting, accounts being locked/banned, people getting killed with them etc. there are alot of different factors. they will continue to rise

Not the best time, best time was early 2002's, but yeah, its an long-term investment.

 

As a long term investment, now is the best time to purchase a hat.

 

Its allways good to buy a phat, since they keep raising.
