A place to buy guides! Or request guides!

I think it would be nice to have an area where you can request to buy a guide.
It'd be nice to be able to ask for specifics and people can post what they have


Ok, well maybe not a whole section, but a thread somewhere ?
And it would have some guidelines to follow so users don't get scammed or just use it to get postcount up with spam?​

you can't request a guide though, That'd create alot more spam.

Why post that ? That's an area to sell. I know that exists, I'd just like an area to be able to request things for guides etc.

requesting guides is silly.. it'll create spam..

for example, i could request 'Guide that will make me 100M in one day'
loads of people will spam me with 'oh try my guide l0l0l0l0l'

I think a big reason they don't allow requests is for xfer guides. There will be a lot of "Requesting 5m/hr or more xfer guide" and then a lot of scamming that will ensue.

 

I do support. I'd like to request guides.
Though it'll create a lot of spamming, maybe it'll cut down on spamming if you don't get a post count on it.

 

I don't support this, I agree with everyone else, spam will be all over the place because people are trying to boost their post count.

 

As much as I would like one, but for reason specified by most above about spamming, I don't think it will go through. However if spamming wasn't an issue, it would be a great section.

 

No support, If some one has a guide to offer in most cases they will all ready be selling it

 

I support, all you have to do to stop the spam is have a bit harsher rules put into place for that section in particular. Like a double infraction for spamming or asking for ridiculous or impossible guides. There should be a sticky that would clarify what would be ridiculous and impossible.

You must have misunderstood my post. Say some one is requesting a 10M/Hr transfer guide, if any one had a 10M/Hr transfer guide they were looking to sell don't you think they would have already posted it in the guides section? Therefore if your looking for a guide check the guides section and if it's not already posted there chance are no one has the guide your looking for so why create another section that is not really need and will be full of spam

 

Because I always want to buy certain guides, or resale rights to guides, and there's not a section. Some people have guides that aren't posted, when there was a request section I sold a few of my private guides for higher prices.

 

So there was previously a request section? Surely they had a good reason for removing it?

 

Well, if there was a 10m p/h transfer method already posted in the guide section, isn't it natural to go check the guide sales section and then post a request, if there is no 10m p/h guide?

Also, it would help in the fact that now guide sellers know what kind of guides are in demand and whats not.

 

I too think this should have a stickie somewhere on the site at the very least.
