Getting fire cape without range

Is this possible in any way? Every single guide out there uses range as the main source of damage, it seems amazing to me that there isn't any other way.

Would it be possible to just ice barrage your way through with 94 magic and 43 prayer and a bunch of prayer pots? What about that stackable food that heals like 1 hp.

Any of this sound possible?

 

It is very unlikely its a must to get range IMO

 

It is possible to mage but it's a lot cheaper to just get 70-80 range and use that. Also the item your referring to are purple sweets.

I saw a level 12 in full ghostly and a fire cape anything is apprently possible..

Mage will cost you alot but i guess its possible if you bring blood blitz too

 

you can use mage, blood blits/barrage

but its going to cost like 10-15M in runes, if you fail its a huge waste of gp

 

Why do you assume hes poor? If he's willing to barrage all the way though, let him do so

also, the techniques used for range would be the same for mage

 

I didnt assume he was poor anywere, i just stated it would cost alot hes getting it on a pure also i presume which will make it less likely to have money without free trade

& no mage techniques are abit different jus search yt

I've once meleed caves on a lvl 98 with dragon halberd. so yes, it's possible
my mate has meleed whole caves with divine/rapier and overloads, he even meleed the 360's.
I wouldn't mage if I were you as it's a complete waste of money and the npc's in fight caves are magic resistant.

Thanks, i was considering doing it until i saw the 10-15m price tag. I have the money, but I'd much rather spend it on something more productive.

My stats are:
Att:65
Str:80
Def:70
Pray:43

I'd say yea, theoretically.

Due to your low pray lvl you might run out of pots before you get to wave 63 tho.

 

It's possible.
Guthans for everything besides 360's, Halberd for 360's, dragon claws and whip/CLS for jad

Level 70+ prayer is advisable to make it there though.

 

DO what woox16 did, 2 spec claw, maul and venge. Should be enough

i think its possible to mage but its more difficult then ranging or meleeing
