Stay at 1 , OR go to 20 defence?

Ok , well recently i've been debating wether or not to go to 20 defence for initiate and mystic as i'm getting tired of 1 defence.

I currently have mith gloves , and will do all quests needed to get rune gloves which will level my defence for me up to 20 making me have the max gear a 20 defence pure can have , aswell as a mith defender and my fire cape that I already have.

My current stats are :
60 attack
99 strength
1 defence
85 HP
90 mage
71 range
44 Prayer

So basically , i'm hoping to get peoples opinions on the jump from a 1 defence pure to 20. What do you think ? Is it worth it ? Have you yourself or know somebody that has done it? Will I regret it?

well, my opinion on 20 def is it enables you to train at better spots, unlocks more content for the player [skiller wise, a whole new chunk of content like magic secateurs, fairy rings etc.]

so i think it's a good choice when you've had enough of 1 def pking. though, i might just suggest that you get a higher range level before you get 20 defence, finish off your mage with 94 and get 94 ranged to match it, that'll get you up there with the hybrids. since 20 def unlocks mystic, its a great magic bonus.

unless you are rich enough or good enough to use corrupt, then 20 def is not really useful. If you want some def, 40 is the way to go. 20 does not really do anything imo unless you are using corrupt

I currently have all the alches ready for 94 mage , so hopefully I will have that in just a few days. About the range , I cant stand the skill. So it'll probably be my best option to probably just round it off at just a slightly higher level such as 80.

max out all stats like range and mage and if u get bored of 1 def quest to 20

 

If you are going to get 20 def, I'd get a higher prayer too because of the crazy prayer bonus initiate gives.

 

Stay 1,it makes you more of a 'pure'

 

Stay 1,becouse with 20 you will need many quests and they are boooring

 

Id say stay 1 defence. If you really bored of it go for 45 and brid up

 

Defenders in general are a pain to get.
I'd guess it's the equivalent of a 100-200k risk depending on how much money you can make per/hr.
Since the time taken to get a mith defender is at least 15-30minutes and can't be botted.

I say do Nature spirit and get rune gloves. (13def)
Wear white armor to be unique and pk with a black defender if you truly want.

you should stay 1 defence it's better.

 

GO TO 20 cuz then ppl will hit on u less like pures so itl be better for pking
