No they still benefited, most of the accounts they transfered the wealth onto have been locked and being investigated but they still got some of the wealth left on other not locked accounts. Plus they may be able to get the locked accounts back....

I doubt he would be safe, as far a legal action, as I saw somewhere how a guy that hacked Sarah Palins' email via the recov system of yahoo went to jail for a year.

Actually I was bored and looking and I actually know who this is if it's the real hacker. I used to be good friends with him in a pure clan. He has an account on Sythe by the way.

 

Let's assume the hacker does go to jail for a year and the locked accounts are unlocked with cash on them. Do you make $200,000/yr?

One problem, he wont keep going to jail for 1 year, i think the punishments will grow larger after multiple offenses and plus jagex wouldn't have cared if it wasn't chessy>_<
