Jessica alba

Well, It's been a while since I've opened photoshop, and I hope some tutorials I've read have helped me. This took me about half an hour, so tell me what you think, etc. I was originally gonna go black and white, but it's not really my thing. Also I tried to go for Darker pinks in most of it. Again, I tried to go for that basic look.

 

You should have Jessica be brighter.

 

Let's see, the render looks blurry. With the render being black and white, it does not fit the pink/purple theme. I particularly don't like how the brush overlaps onto Jessica's shoulder and hair. You could however, remove all the purple/pink stuff and work with that render and background. Maybe add some kind of nice background via a c4d or something. A border would make it look nice but it doesn't really need it; that depending on your final outcome. I would also look for a better font and use a bigger font size. Hope that helped a little.

 

The render you used is slightly grainy and ruins the sharpness that a focal point should maintain. It may have been a little better if you had decreased the size of your render a little and made it more central.

 

I think it's supposed to be like that. Perhaps not, but I think it's sepia, or supposed to look like an old photo.

I like the transparency effect, but I think the text is:

A.) Mispositioned.
B.) The wrong color.
C.) The wrong font.

Nonetheless, as I said, I like the transparency effect. You should submit it to NSOTW!

 

The render is blurry and you covered it up with pick. Try reading some tutorials on blending renders into the background.

 

You defiantly need a new render and brushing over the edge of the render was a mistake.
Is this all on just one layer?

Look at Billy's Sig, The render is very bright, like it should be and looks quite nice, in your case it looks very low quality, Nice Try

That looks pretty decent imo, but I don't do alot of photoshp sorta stuff.

I don't like overlap on her shoulder, but other than that it's good.

If the render is old-fasion looking, the whole signature should be that way too. The signature should be based on the render, or vice-versa.
