    I don't recommend laptops in general, especially Sony laptops.

    If you're a gamer or a big PC user, a 1.65GHz dual core processor isn't going to cut it for you.

    It will feel extremely sluggish even when compared to a Pentium 4 2.xGHZ processor.

    I personally believe that dual cores are worthless if the speeds are under 2.66 or so.

    What kind of programs do you regularly run on your laptops?

    Need some help?

    Anything above 2 Ghz dual core is good for a laptop. The only thing you wouldn't be able to do is run epic games on it, such as Crysis. I even managed to run counter strike source on my sister's computer smoothly, and hers was a piece of shit. Of course you wouldn't be able to run a million programs and everything would be slower than a quad, it's be fine.
