Sythe Interview 1: Kadaj.

Kadaj will get the first interview by me I'll skip the basic questions as you already have your own meet the staff thread.

How did you find Sythe?

My friend started using Sythe a while before me and I never actually took any interest in registering. I lurked for a while and wanted to start expressing my opinions and to sell a few accounts and that was when I finally registered.

Why did you choose the name "Kadaj"?

Again, this has something to do with my friend. He was a big fan of Final Fantasy and was always talking about it. He was with me at the time I registered and he mentioned the name 'Kadaj' and I thought it sounded quite good for a forum name so I used it. I have no interest in Final Fantasy what so ever, and I really regret using it now.

Are you in a relationship at the moment?

Unfortunately not, no.

Do you play Runescape currently? If so, what kind of account do you have (pure,zerker,main)?

I have only just started playing again and I have a really shitty main. It's only level 90 and I'm trying to get that up as quickly as possible. Grave is also botting me an account which should (hopefully) have 99 hunter today. I will be making that into a pure when he has finished.

Who are some of your best friends on Sythe?

I only really talk to a couple of people from Sythe. I speak to; Finn, Alteranz, Grave and yourself.

Do you have a job at the moment?

Funny you should mention that. I had a job interview last week and I'm still waiting to hear from them. But because I have inside contacts (the store manager) I already know I have the job, so yeah, I do. I don't know when I will be starting but my activity will drop (even more).

What is your greatest pet peeve?

On the PC: People who do not type correctly.
In RL: When people come into my room and open my door, then when they leave, they leave it open.

Do you have any shoutouts to Sythe?

YES! Jordan, you need to get on msn more.

Far too short. Questions are ok though.

 

It's a little concise. I was expecting it to be longer and more detailed.

 

Need to go deeper, we want to hear stuff that you would never expect to hear from him... But overall was good for your first! Keep it up I enjoyed reading it =]

Keep the number of questions pertaining to Sythe.org limited. Not only do most of us not care why people come to the site, but personal stuff is far more interesting.

It was short, but interesting nonetheless. As Finn said, you should definately ask personal questions as it's far more interesting.
Even general stuff like hobbies and interests too I suppose, I know they're mentioned on their meet the staff threads but the information given on the interview would hopefully be more current and detailed.

 

Reading all the comments above; I think you should re-do me.

Within reason, yes.

 

The questions are a bit basic, go more in-depth, ie. 'how did you choose sythe and what were your intentions when you first joined. How have they changed now?'. Saves the interviewee having to add more detail and not worry that their answers are too short.

But for a first, it's good. Keep working on it and get some more creative questions. People like seeing how others deal with certain situations, so try and ask questions that would be appropriate for both the reader and the person being interviewed. This will draw the reader to have more interest in the interview, in my opinion.

Keep it up, want to see the next one much more developed

 

Almost half the questions were about Sythe. Take what others said into consideration, and make around fifty questions (that's what I'd do anyway). You kind of rushed this interview.

 

I would say vary questions But none the less still a good effort
