I moved yesterday and my computer did not survive the trip, and I would look this up myself but I'm on my crappy droid so that's near impossible. Is it cheaper to build my own pc online or to buy one premade from walmart/bestbuy/tigerdirect/etc.? I know what specs to look for, but idk about pricing, it needs to be the cheapest I can get that will also run (for example) skyrim. Thanks!
Cheapest in terms of equal performance is always building your own. How much are you looking to spend? I can build you a nice computer for the price.
Building your own is always cheaper than buying your own. As for Skyrim, you'd need at least a Nvidia 560 ti to run Skyrim decently, it doesn't go below 50 FPS now (at 1980x1080) on here. Budget?

That MOBO and CPU actually won't work together. The CPU is AM3, and the MOBO is FM1, so you will need to choose a AM3 MOBO. Other than that the build that SUF posted looks great, although I would personally go with a little bit better PSU. Modular ones at that price range aren't necessarily worth it.
Lol shit. I forgot to check the socket on the AMD motherboard. Never looked at AMD stuff so it slipped my mind. :S He just bought a prebuilt anyway, so it doesn't much matter.
