    OKCoin Accepting Yuan Again

Apparently OKcoin is accepting Yuan again. If true, this could explain the recent price rise of crypto. It's also just plain fantastic news for crypto in general.

Only source I've come across so far is this http://www.btc38.com/btc/btc_news/521.html

I'm not sure if it's a reputable source. But if the news is true, we'll be seeing more articles about it soon (and also probably a nice rise in prices).

    Happy Investing,
    NikeShoes

    EDIT:

Another source? Google Translate is only so good... Any native speakers here?

It seems to be mostly just speculation and apparently it was simply a pretty big 'pump & dump'. However, supposedly there's some sort of loophole with BTCC so people can still go to a supermarket or w.e, and buy BTCC vouchers to still trade.

I'm just sitting here looking at the charts waiting for LTC to reach $25... Hopefully wont be that much longer now.

That sort of almost instantaneous drastic increase in volume doesn't typically come from just speculation or a pump. I'm curious why LTC had such a drastic increase while other coins only increased a little in comparison.

Coinking, does this mean you think news regarding China's adaption of cryptocurrency isn't important for the longterm success or failure of crypto? Since you constantly act superior and seem to be a professional investor, you should know that China's actions have a significant effect on all crypto in both the short and longterm.

China definitely has a big impact, just look at what happened the day the news came out lol. Although, I do think in the long run even if China bans it or w.e things will end up stabilizing and playing off nicely. I'm sure there will be ways made around any blocks they try, probably a huge black market in China already arising if you think about it.

Yep, I agree. Although I'm sure crypto as a whole will be quite a bit more influential if China accepts it. Even if they don't, I also believe the technology behind crypto will lead to positive changes in how the world uses money and stores wealth.

I'd love to go to China and checkout the blackmarket myself one day if the government continues to restrict adoption of crypto. Would be an awesome opportunity for research.

    zgangz, are you serious?

Yes,China may be in the lights right now but it seems that is speculation. Just like SilkRoad in the past :)
When they got caught bitcoin price drop a lot for sometime and then it rise again.
I am not saying china can't affect the bitcoin price,i am saying it can't affect it at all :)
I am not professional investor (well i can't say that for myself) i am just person who is dealing with cryptos from the begining and i have some experience.
Right now so many minor things affect the coins price...
This month will be China, next month will be something else but nothing can't stop the coins price going up.
A lot of things can slow that process and if ur daily trader u may cry every single day :D
I am helping h1j2q3 about the litecoins right now and i sucessful bring him around 80% profit for less than 10 weeks (just for this moment, his profit will be huge in month).
Don't get me wrong,i don't ignore ur statements at all! But ur statements are based on things which is not permanent. I suggest you if u really like to invest a long term, better read whats happening from 2011-2013 and not just reading speculations :) Watch the chats, check what makes bitcoin price go low and then rise again and u will see what i am talkin about :)
China control most of the markets but don't forget they are not ruling them :)
Wish you best of luck with crypto's.
