How to Run OSX 10.5 on your PC

Ok, So you saw my previous guide and have successfully built your own custom computer but Windows just isn't enough for you. If this sounds like you keep reading.

    Preparation

    For this guide you'll need:
    - A computer
    - An intel Processor P4 or Higher ( Possible on AMD but i use intel so it's the platform i will be covering )
    - a DVD Drive
    - a blank DVD-R/RW disk
    - a Disk image called "iAtkos" available at any torrent site
    - Magic ISO

WARNING: IF YOU ARE NOT AN APPLE DEVELOPER PLEASE QUIT READING THE BELOW INFORMATION IS NOT INTENDED FOR THE GENERAL CONSUMER.

    Creating the Disk

Open Up Magic ISO maker, if you're on the demo hit try-it
Go to Tools > Burn CD/DVD with ISO
Navigate to the iAtkos disk image
Burn it at 8x write speed ( doing it at any faster speed will increase the chance of the disk being corrupted )

WARNING: BACK UP ALL OF YOUR IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS AND FILES BEFORE PROCEEDING

    Installation

Leave the newly burnt disk in the drive and then hit restart, if the disk drive is out hit the button on the front of it to make sure that the disk is in the computer.

if you get a screen that says "Darwin" press any key to start installing OSX you're good, if not you're going to want to enter your BIOS by pressing F8 or whatever your motherboard manufacturer has defaulted the shortcut to, and then change your boot order so that your disk drive is set to the highest boot priority.

So you should be at a screen that says Darwin press any key to install OSX, just press any key and then go make a cup of coffee. it's going to take a while for OSX to load.

Once OSX has loaded, select your language, it's most likely going to be english.

After the installer loads, go to the top menu bar and select
    Tools > Disk Utility

And then Format your Hard Drive to Mac OSX Journaled Format. Close the Disk utility window and then run the installer. Skip the disk check it's useless anyways.

    Post Installation

When the installer Reboots you will be in OSX 10.5 leopard. The newer your machine the more hardware that will work right out of the box.

The Following Laptops will work out of the Box ( list by jacob019 thanks ) :

For the most part your install will work, and for pretty much every peice of hardware there is an OSX driver available. you can find many of them here
